Long distance planning

This post hereby seals my intent to one day blog about my travels through the UK and elsewhere.

I've created this blog mainly to lay claim to a domain, so that when my travel plans for 2019 (yes, 2019, I am well in advance) come to fruition, I will have a place already set up on which to communicate my adventures with friends and family, and any other interested persons. I'm sure it'll mostly be used to tell my mum I'm okay.

At present my initial plans are to start by exploring the UK, and I intend to do this on foot. I have mapped a potential route from London to Inverness on foot, incorpoating the Pennine Way, the West Highland Way, and the Great Glen Way at the northern end. I'm estimating this entire trek will take ~70 days, but with some slack for exploration and rest perhaps it will be closer to 3 months.

When the time is closer, and my schedule more precise, I will begin posting again, and hopefully create some interest in my Journey. I would love to be able to use this platform, and other forums, to generate some support, people to meet, advice on essential places to see, and maybe a few places to stay.

Until then, xox

Not all those who wander are lost, but I might be!
