A long and tiring day, so some brief notes only
- I was surprised when I expected to turn off the main road after crossing a stream, but instead found the stream had passed overhead in a canal.
- Found the ruins of a church built in 1100s that survived through into the 1900s.
- Stumbled about off-track in a forest because I was on the wrong trail and didn't want to turn back.
- Spent too long walking on a main road, introducing myself to the nettles on the verge every time a car came by. I was wearing shorts
